Assistant Professor
The Kent State University School of Library and Information Science is seeking applicants for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will present evidence of potential for teaching and scholarship emphasizing organization of information. Expertise in information science and technology is highly desired. Qualifications include a master's degree in library and information science and a completed doctorate or substantial progress toward completion. Salary is competitive; benefits are excellent. The position is available for the fall of 1997. Applications will be accepted through March 3, 1997. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the 1997 ALISE conference.
