The School of Information Science and Learning Technologies offers an M.A. in Library Science, an M.A./M.Ed. in Educational Technology, and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. Collaborative research among faculty is facilitated by research groups with interests in Information Retrieval Research, Cognition and Information Technology, Medical Informatics, and Technology Innovations in Education.
MU is the oldest state university west of the Mississippi River and the largest of the four institutions in the University of Missouri System.
