The Department of Library Science, Sam Houston State University is currently accepting applications for 2 tenure-track, assistant professor positions available fall 1997. Requirements: Ph.D in library Science or related field with experience in school libraries preferred. Duties include teaching in 2 or more of the following areas: children's and young adult literature, administration of school libraries, information access, cataloging/classification, and technology related courses. Salary range for both positions from $27,000-34,000 per 9 month depending upon experience. Summer school teaching optional.
