The Wall Street Boys Association
c. 1925

  1. As a research challenge, have students interview members of their families and communities to see if anyone has any information about the Wall Street Boys' Association. Have them write a report on their findings.

  2. Have students make a chart of African Americans in business. Include the names, dates, and locations.

  3. Have students read Black Enterprise. Have them research the subject of an article and write a short report on how African Americans have contributed to the field.

  4. Invite a member of the business community to your school and have them give a talk to the students. Have a question and answer session afterwards. Have students practice writing a resume that they would use for a job application in the financial industry.

  5. Have a lesson on how to read stock market figures.
