Lucy Arellano is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan. She is pursuing three Bachelor's Degrees that include: Computer Animation/Graphics, American Culture, and Latina/o Studies. As a native of East Los Angeles, she has found a vested interest in this project. She is also extremely glad that this project has seen completion, and now the rest of the world can share in the enjoyment.
She graduated with honors from Roosevelt High School in the top 2% of her class in 1995.
Lucy plans to graduate in December '99, or at the very latest May of 2000. She is the daughter of two very loving parents who did not want to let her leave home and go away for college. She has a sister who is currently a senior at her alma mater, and a brother who attends East Los Angeles College.
If you would like to offer Ms. Arellano a job, you may also be interested in some additional skills that she has. As is evident from this website, she is pretty efficient in HTML, she knows Adobe Photoshop and Pagemaker rather well, she can animate in Macromedia Director, and as a result of her being in the College of Engineering for three years she knows really basic C and C++, as well as Java 1.0. She is also fluent in Spanish, and has excellent communication skills. (A resume in HTML format is in the works.)
As if that was not enough, she is also a DJ on
WCBN 88.3 FM, Ann Arbor. A link is provided here for your

She controls the airwaves every-other Sunday from 10 p.m. to midnight
(EST). She is the host of "Radio Caliente" which is a specialty show
that plays Latino music.
Lucy is also active in the Latina/o community at the University of
Michigan. She currently holds the position of Historian in the
student organization: ALIANZA.
Alianza is the Latina/o Student Alliance at the university. If you
haven't already guessed, yes, that position does require her to
manage the organization's web page.
