Royal Shakespeare Company at the University of Michigan

"And here I prophesy: this brawl today,
Grown to this faction in the Temple Garden,
Shall send between the red rose and the white
A thousand souls to death and deadly night."

Henry VI, 2.iv. 124-7

The visit by the Royal Shakespeare Company to Ann Arbor is a significant event. Never before have Shakespeare's four histories, the Tetralogy, been performed as a series. For three weeks in March 2001, the Royal Shakespeare Company will live, learn, teach, and perform in Ann Arbor.
