  • University of Michigan Exhibit Museum of Natural History

    This museum is located on the corner of Washtenaw Ave. and Geddes Ave. on the UM central campus, and contains a Native American section. In addition, there is an online exhibition of Native American dioramas at: http://www.exhibits.lsa.umich.edu/New/VirtualExhibits/Nat.Am./Nat.Amindex.html.

  • The University of Michigan Museum of Anthropology
    holds research collections available by appointment to scholars. Their website contains many online exhibits of Native American artifacts, http://www.umma.lsa.umich.edu/.
    The collections are part of the Museum of Natural History (above).

  • University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens

    The gardens contains a multitude of plants native to America and offers tours, lectures and workshops on ethnobotany and Native American plant use. In addition, there is a yearly event called "Blast to the Past" which focuses on the use of plants and natural resources by Native Americans and pioneers. 1800 North Dixboro Road, Ann Arbor, 48105.

    This museum focuses on the Native Americans of the Great Lakes region.
