Nancy Francis recounts her childhood in Ann Arbor. She grew up in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement. Her parents were community activists who taught others how to organize. One of Judge Francis' heroines is Cora Rumsey, a local activist. She shares her vivid memories of this time period in Ann Arbor's history.
