Amulet 7

Original tag: A crow's head and a bit of skin from a dead donkey's nose wrapped round with seven different coloured strands of silk. Seven pins are stuck inside the roll of skin. Worn by a baby to protect it against the evil eye and to prolong its life.

Comments: The "Eye" or "Evil Eye" refers to a traditional belief that certain people, if jealous, have the power in their gaze alone to injure or destroy possessions or persons.
