2. Blues Foundation

The Blues Foundation site dedicated to preserving blues history. Excellent source for information on artists and history of blues.

3. The Blue Highway

Good site with essays on blues, artist information, song clips, a chat room, and local blues news.

4. Southern Mosaic

Library of Congress site about the Lomax's 1939 field recording trip in the South. Includes full text of the report of the trip by Lomax, a brief overviw of the expedition, recordings, and lyrics.

5. Blues Online

Excellent site about blues music and its history. Lots of photographs and essays of artists.

Good site for blues history, song lyrics, and clips of songs.

Cascade Blues Association's site dedicated to education the public on the history of blues. Contains many articles from their newsletter the BluesNotes, photos and recordings of blues legends, as well as links to blues radio and links to other sites.
