Willie Colon broke ground at an early age with his recordings of Latino jazz. Born in 1950, Colon is a renowned trombone player, arranger and composer. His work blends rock, salsa, Cuban, Puerto Rican and Brazilian musical influences. His first album, produced at age 17, sold more than 300,000 copies. He has since performed and recorded with such legendary artists as Ruben Blades, Hector LaVoe and Celia Cruz.
