Somethings that represent my culture are the doll horses that you see in this picture. They are a very popular collection in Scandinavia. I have many cultural connections with Scandinavia. Including the fact that my great grandfather was from there. His wife died in child birth with my grandfather. My great grandfather was very wise and sent my grandfather to America to live with his sister and mother. Then he grew up and married my grandmother. They had my dad and my uncle. My grandfather is dead now and I miss him very much.
I also own some straw horses which are Scandinavian and are for guarding the Christmas tree. Something interesting that I'm very thankful for is that when my grandmother came out to visit us, she prepared us a wonderful traditional Scandinavian dinner called a smorgasbord.
