TEACHERS' LOUNGE
The "Teachers' Lounge" includes lesson plans, connections to local and
national history resources, and a feedback
area so you can share your
experiences about using this site with
others.
Lesson plans cover a wide range of fields -- such as history, literature,
creative writing, and landscape design. This is an evolving site. Please
check back every so often t
o see what new ideas have been submitted. Each
plan includes instructions, a list of materials, and age appropriateness.
The resource center provides you with a quick and easy way to explore other
local and regional history sources. Please feel free
to make
recommendations for additional sites using the bulletin board in this section.
Finally, the bulletin board was designed as a way for teachers to
communicate with teachers and other educators. Let us know what you've
tried with your classes;
what worked, and what might need some modification.
