Huron River Topics
Since the earliest days of settlement, the face of Ann Arbor has been shaped by the Huron River and its local tributaries. The Huron and Allen's Creek have had a major influence on settlement patterns and the industrial development of Lower Town in particular. The riverside has also served as a public space for community events and recreation, and provided artistic inspiration throughout the years.
