Group project report
March 8, 1999

 

Goal:

To produce a professional-quality summary of your group activity this term. This report should be a self-contained description of lessons learned, methods, and recommendations written in a form that is useful to your client.

Report format:

Your report should be 15 pages, double spaced, plus end matter. You should include the Executive summary as a separate page that counts toward the 15 page limit. We recommend that you format your report using the style of the American Psychological Association, as described in the Publication Manual of the APA, 4th edition, or in some other widely adopted style (such as MLA).

The following describes the recommended outline and contents for your report.   Please include section headings that correspond to the recommended section headings below. 

  1. Executive Summary (Abstract)
  2. Introduction
  3. Problem Statement (can be taken from project contract)
  4. Methodology (can be taken from project contract)
  5. Results/Discussion(& tables and graphs but not raw data)
  6. Recommendations
  7. .End Matter (References/Appendix, if any)
