Civic Practices Network
The Civic Practices Network (CPN) is a collaborative and nonpartisan project bringing together a diverse array of organizations within the new citizenship movement. "We provide training manuals, "best practice" guides, and evaluative tools so that all of us can become more skillful about the public work that we do. We map innovative projects around the country, and help each other locate other civic assets and partners."
Community Information Toolkit from the Library of Michigan
A work in progress, this toolkit will eventually be "a multimedia collection of tools and tips for teaching public library staff and community partners how to get their local community information on-line." It already has a downloadable chapter on Best Practices, which includes a section on training.
