Steel blade with straight cutting edge and sharp point cocked by pulling curved lever attached to blade at proximal end; blade and lever extend from rectangular brass housing with rounded proximal end; lever on side of housing controls spring action of blade. Instrument is stored in cloth covered wood box lined with velvet. 6 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm.
