Description: Sphygmomanometer. Round metal instrument has two dials; round aneroid manometer dial has needle, clear glass crystal and scale graduated from 0 to 35 cm Hg; the oscillometric dial is a half circle with needle, clear glass crystal, and scale graduated from 0 to 20 cm; screw valve and compressor on side of instrument; four nipples fit to rubber tubing. Rubber inflating bulb included. Rubber inflating bag fits inside cloth cuff with two nipples for tubing and leather strap and buckle closures. Wooden cloth covered box with hinged lid, metal hinged latches and leather handle,; inside lid marked: "G. BOULITTE -- INGE CONSTRUCTEUR -- 1521 R. BOILLOT, PARIS, 13e." Paper glued to inside lid marked : "IMPORTANT NOTES...". Manometer dial marked: "CENTIMETRES DE MERCURE -- G. BOULITTE --PARIS". Oscillometric dial marked: "OSCILLOMETRE SPHYGMOMETRIQUE DU Prof. PACHON --BREVETE S.G.D.G. -- g. Boulitte, ing. Const. -- 15 a21, rue Bobillot, Paris XIIIe:. Two instruction/information booklets also included, one entitled "Instructions for using Pachon's Oscillometer with Dr. Gallavardin's New Armlet for the measurement of Maximal and Minimal Arterial Pressure"; the second booklet is in French and is entitled: "INSTRUCTION -- pour operer le remplacement de l'Obus -- de la Valve". Cuff marked: "HAUT" and "G. Boulitte - - PARIS -- BREVETTE S.G.D.G. Case: 10.5 x 24 x 18 cm.
