Chromium-plated brass hollow tube with air suction and light channels; obturator shaft with adjustable stop and flexible scored, spring-like distal end terminating in tapered, flexible rubber tip fits into main tube; slender L-shaped illumination rod with threaded proximal end fits into light cahnnel; air/suction channel has proximal end termiating in an air control hole and a segmented nipple; milled lens assembly with glass lens fits into notch near handle. Instrument is housed in leatherette case with velvet lining. Case marked: "EDER- HUFFORD ESOPHAGOSCOPE -- Mfg. by -- EDER INSTRUMENT COMPANY, INC. - - Chicago."
