The approximately 2000 images of objects chosen for this browser from the Museum of Art's collection of 12,000 are an eclectic selection including European Old Master prints and drawings--French, Dutch, Italian and British. The group includes representative samples from the Museum's strong collection of Whistler, Dürer, Turner and German Expressionist prints and drawings. Japanese woodcuts are represented by Hiroshige, Hokusai and Shoson. Chinese paintings and bronzes are also included, as well as Indian paintings and the Shah-nameh, a Persian manuscript.
