Accessing your files on the Novell Netware Servers at the School of Information

Links to pages on SI Computing's site on how to access the Novell Netware servers:
  • NetStorage provides web browser based access to your files.

  • NetDrive will map the SI Novell Netware servers to a drive letter accessible via My Computer or Windows Explorer.

  • SSL-FTP provide secure FTP connections.
  • Macintosh AFP The Novell servers are running Native File Access, which enables Mac OS X to access the Netware servers. The Novell file space(s) will appear as a drive icon(s) on the Desktop.

  • Novell Client on Windows The traditional Novell Client (the red 'N' in the system tray) running on Windows. The Novell Client for software allows SI PC's running Windows to access and use all of the Novell services.
