Negotiation
Problem: Given possible configurations, and which agents could fill them, how is one selected (relative to other configurations being formed concurrently....)?
Strategy:
- Flexible negotiation frameworks based on auctions
- Goods/services might be sold differently based on their unique character and/or current market env.
Status:
- SMS agents use auctions to allocate resources
- Auctions achieve load-balancing (December demo)
- Monitoring auctions to determine where to stimulate creation of new services/goods (May demo)
- Auction Manager generates/tracks auctions
