MSI student Andrew Hunt a Digital Library Federation fellow

(Mar 2008)  Andrew Hunt, a Master of Science in Information student specializing in Archives and Records Management, has been selected one of four national Digital Library Federation fellows and will attend the federation's spring forum in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Hunt was chosen based on work he did last summer during an internship at Stanford University. He worked there on the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) project as a business development officer. That program is directed by Victoria Reich (AMLS '76).

The fellowship recognizes an employee of a member institution who has worked in the profession for less than three years. Hunt received a $1,000 grant for expenses to attend their spring forum from April 28-30. While there, he will attend various meetings, meet with some of the digital library staff from Stanford, and attend an awards dinner.
