Invitations to UMSI events in your area

Throughout the year the Office of Development and Alumni Relations hosts alumni events throughout the country. Invitations to these events are sent to all alumni via email. To update your email address with UMSI send an email to umsiupdates@umich.edu.

Eligibility for alumni awards

The School of Information has established two alumni awards: Distinguished alumni award and Entrepreneurial & Innovation alumni award. All alumni are eligible for award nomination. Alumni will be notified via email when nominations for 2013 awards will be accepted. Click here for additional details.

Alumni society board:

All UMSI alumni are eligible to serve on the UMSI Alumni Society Board. 

Career and job search resources

At this time, the Career Development Office CDO offers alumni the following services:

• one-time resume/cover letter review (send as attachment to umsi.careers@umich.edu)
• Full access to iTrack (online recruiting system)
• Access to all online career/job search resources, including the UMSI Resume Guide

NEW GRADS- If your graduation date was less than four months ago, you are considered a NEW GRAD and as such, you are eligible to receive all CDO services, including career counseling.

The U-M Alumni Association and the U-M Career Center both offer individual career counseling to alumni for life.
