Recruitment Services for Employers
The SI Career Development Office offers you a range of services to help you meet your recruitment needs.
Post Jobs and Search Resumes of SI Students and Alumni
You can post positions and search and download resumes of SI students and alumni through our iTrack online recruitment system.
If you would like to create a resume book -- customized to meet your recruiting needs -- please contact the SI Career Development Office at jckroll@umich.edu. We will assemble one and send it to you electronically.
On-Campus Recruiting
SI Networking Fair
Participate in this job-fair format event each spring to connect with top talent, generate awareness of your organization, and identify qualified candidates for your current and/or future recruiting needs. You will have your own table space to present to master's students from all of SI's specializations. Gather resumes and meet students who want to learn about you!
Interview on Campus
Plan a visit to the School of Information to interview current students for your job or internship positions. You may pre-screen resumes and select candidates to interview, offer an open sign up period to interview students who meet your criteria, or a combination of the two. If you are already recruiting through another career services office at the University of Michigan, we are happy to coordinate efforts to maximize the benefits of your visit to Ann Arbor. If you are interested in setting up on-campus interviews, please contact Joanna Kroll, associate director of career services, at jckroll@umich.edu.
Host a Presentation at SI
Connect with a group of SI students to share information about your organization in a presentation or brown bag seminar during a visit to SI. You might consider offering a presentation in conjunction with a visit to interview students. It's an ideal way to build your presence on campus. If you are interested in hosting a presentation at SI, please contact Joanna Kroll at jckroll@umich.edu.
Featured Employer Program
Becoming a Featured Employer at the School of Information will allow you to target job postings, recruiting, and company information to School of Information graduate students for an entire semester.

The School of Information has a long history of providing students with opportunities to go out and work with professionals in mentored learning experiences. We’re so committed to this ideal that we make it a requirement of students in our Master’s program.
