French Horn
General Information:
The French horn began as a kind of hunting horn, made with a single, wide circle and a widely flaring bell. First manufactured in France during the late 17th century, it has subsequently had many changes in structure and playing technique.
The illustration, right , dramatically shows the many folds and loops of the contemporary French horn.
