Caption: Pyramids. Pyramid of Cheops at right, Kephren at the left. Nile valley beyond at the right. Note the original facing at the top of Kephren. Cheops: length of side of base, 750 feet' slant height, 568 feet' perpendicular h eight 451 feet now. Side rise at an angle of 51 degrees and 50 minutes. Covers about 13 acres. Mass, 3,057,000 cubic yards. The pyramid of Kephren is only slightly smaller. Note the three people near the base of the latter.
