Biographical notes:
Also known as DLG for short is an fresh new look on the Latin music map that shatters the stereo typical pop image. There approach to Latin music, based on Salsa mixes in reggae, hip-hop and other blends. As a result, the audiences are getting a more diverse listening experience. The group was discovered by Sergio George in New York's Latin club scene. DLG features 24 year old, Huey Dunbar who was inspired by his father and ties to the conga playing and reggae. His mother helped him establish Puerto Rican roots. James de Jesus, 27 brings reggae, rap and salsa to the table. Wilfredo Crispin, 22 was raised in Miami and Bronx and loves reggae. He too was discovered by Sergio George. DLG's first hit, No Morira, hit the Billboard charts for 6 weeks, followed by Todo Mi Corazon that reached #1. In 1997, Swing On was a huge success and sold twice as many copies as their first album. DLG since has appeared on many television shows, toured Spain, Bolivia, Argentina and Uruguay. They have been featured in the New York Times, LA Times and Miami Herald.
