Featured in the opening page of the Salsa Stories virtual tour, Guadalupe Victoria Yoli - known as La Lupe - was originally from Santiago, Cuba. She moved to New York City in the early 1960s, where she recorded with Tito Puente and other legends of salsa music. She passed away in 1992.
