SI 596: Digital Information Services
Digital Information Services prepares students to become managers and practitioners of digital services. The course focuses on use and users of digital libraries as well as digital services in all phases of the information life cycle. It explores information technologies for digital service provision and digitization project management along with standards for creation of digital content and metadata. It also introduces issues related to digital service design, delivery, and evaluation. Projects and assignments prepare students to learn the leadership in the field of digital libraries and services.
