Biographical Information
Kyle Jensen
Kyle is a research affiliate in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program where he studies the role of intellectual property in the life sciences sector, focusing on the United States and the People's Republic of China. In 2002, Kyle co–founded Agrivida Inc., an agricultural biotechnology company creating novel corn varieties for producing fuel ethanol. He continues to have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and advises a number of early-stage biotech ventures. He has published widely in the field of bioinformatics including publications in both Nature and Science. Kyle worked previously at IBM and Procter & Gamble. He received his Ph.D. from MIT and B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both in chemical engineering.
