Purpose:
- generate and track auctions
- recommend auctions
- account for market creation costs
Vehicle to explore different how well different policies work:
- collects data from running auctions
- data can be used to measure system welfare, assess how well auction charging policy works.
- Future: post aggregate market information for agents. E.g. seller may see opportunity to fill new market niche.
