This event launched the physical construction of the New NAHECSC Building. The dignitaries who graced the ceremony included the Premier of the Eastern Cape, the Honourable Reverend A M Stofile, who performed the sod turning, Anglo-American representative, Mrs. M Keeton and Mr. Tim George, Provincial Government officials from the Directorate of Arts and Culture including the Director, Ms. Msengana-Ndlela and the Mayor of Alice, his worship, Mr. Masala.
