Internet User Experience 2005 March 14 - 15, 2005 Description: The Michigan Chapter of the Usability Professionals' Association (UPA), the Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC/SM), the Southern Michigan Northern Ohio Chapter of the ACM SIG CHI (MOCHI), the User Experience Network (UXnet), and Washtenaw Community College’s Internet Professional Program will be co-sponsoring a March conference entitled "Internet User Experience 2005," March 14 and 15, 2005 at the Morris Lawrence Auditorium in Ypsilanti, MI. The conference will focus on dramatic improvements to today's website user experience, and strategic preparations for the evolving internet as devices expand, shrink, and make themselves available in various ways. Conference events will include a full-day tutorial entitled "Usability for the Web: The Latest Methods and Guidelines in Web Design" with Tom Brinck of Diamond Bullet Design, Inc. Other events include keynote, presentations, a legendary panel debate, and a reception to meet internationally-known experts in the field of internet user experience.
