Ed will take a look at how technlogical change in the past
four years in fundraising, social networking, media production and
organizing have made an impact in this year's Presidential race, and
will share insights into where the next four years of technology might
take us.
About the Speaker
Edward Vielmetti is Vice President of Services at Socialtext, Inc., a
Palo Alto, CA based company that provides electronic workspaces for
collaboration based on weblogs and wikis.
Prior to joining Socialtext, Ed has worked at a number of
organizations advancing the state of the art of the Internet,
including pioneering efforts in network security, electronic payments,
internet services and securities trading. He is used to being about
four years ahead of what is mainstream for technology.
