Principal investigators and PhD candidates will participate in a social-computing systems workshop and doctoral symposium to be held at the School of Information in June. This by-invitation event will foster an exchange of ideas among develop new collaborations among the participants, who are drawn from a wide spectrum of researchers working in the field of social computing. It will also help junior faculty and doctoral students develop the social networks they need to succeed in this interdisciplinary field.
