Adler-Milstein published in top medical journals

Assistant professor Julia Adler-Milstein notes three recent publications: two in prestigious medical journals and one as a chapter in a report by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation released at the National Press Club in Washington last month.

“Sharing Clinical Data Electronically” was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), April 25, 2012. Dr. Ashsish Jha, Harvard School of Public  Health, co-authored the article.

"Organizational complements to electronic health records in ambulatory physician performance: the role of support staff,” also co-authored by Adler-Milstein and Jha, appeared in the April 19 2012 online issue of the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA). Read the article.

Adler-Milstein’s chapter on health information appeared in the Robert Wood Johnson annual report on health information technology (HIT) adoption made available April 25 at the Health Affairs forum  in Washington, D.C. Adler-Milstein attended the forum, which covered recent trends in HIT adoption among US healthcare providers and was attended by congressional representatives, health policy professionals, academics, and news media.
