Project Outcomes
While working at GlaxoSmithKline, I researched Japanese tax and securities law to support a capital structure reallocation proposal, saving the firm several billion yen annually.
I also analyzed and critiqued department
budgets, created counter-proposals, and collaborated with the sales department to understand and reduce travel and entertainment costs by a third over the next three years.
I developed sophisticated sales and expense forecasting models, implemented department-wide forecast standardization and benchmarking, prepared a business case to suggest new decision support software, and oversaw its selection, implementation and training.
