- Provide a list of archival materials in the Nabokov gift
- Provide written responses to requests for republication of images from Special Collections
|
 |
Learning Objectives
- Learn the reference functions of the Special Collections Library, including assisting patrons with research questions and helping them with access to partially cataloged items
- Learn to use OCLC to import new records into MIRLYN for Russian language books in the Fan Parker Nabokov collection and thus learn collection development
- Respond to reference questions and publication requests from written and e-mail requests
|
Project Outcomes
I pre-cataloged the Russian language books in the Fan Parker Nabokov gift. These books are now in the library's catalog. Each book has a shelf location noted in the entry. Further cataloging awaits the assignment of Library of Congress classifications.
I also created a list of other archival materials in the Fan Parker gift to prepare for archival processing.
