Stephen Cotterill (MSI '05)


Stephen Cotterill

 
Before SI: Earned his BSE in computer engineering from U-M.

At SI: Focused on HCI with special attention to usability design and evaluation. He took a leadership role in LILA and contributed to SOCHI (he designed their logo, in fact), Alternative Spring Break fundraising, and the Internet Public Library. He worked as a GSRA under Associate Professor Mark Ackerman on his Governance Objects research.

After SI: Now working as a user experience engineer at Apple, Inc., in Cupertino, California. He evaluates new and emerging technologies for internal business applications and designs and builds software based on these technologies. As an alumnus, Steve was proud to help out with the IPL's 10th and LILA's 15th anniversaries.
