Virginia Rezmierski is adjunct associate professor in the School of Information and adjunct associate professor in the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Formerly, she was director of the Office of Policy Development and Education within the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the University of Michigan. Her professional interests focus on policy issues related to information technology and the development of institutional norms to address these issues. She is particularly interested in questions such as privacy and the security of electronic records and access to and restrictions on potentially offensive material on the Internet.
