Judy Lawson is director of admissions and student affairs at the School of Information, providing comprehensive services to both students and employers.

In the academic services area, Lawson oversees SI's recruitment, admissions, student events (orientation, open house, prom, and graduation), financial aid, and academic advising efforts.

In the career services area, career counseling, workshops and seminars, and online resources are available to help students with a wide range of career related topics, including career options, resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, researching employers, locating position openings, interviewing, and negotiating job and salary offers.

Employers may post job or internship positions, offer a presentation or interview students on campus, or seek consultation on job development or recruitment strategies to build a presence with SI students at the University of Michigan.

Lawson joined the School of Information after a number of years with the University's Career Planning and Placement Office.
