At SAALT.org, Vik Vaishya helped in their work dealing with hate crimes against South Asians. People at SAALT have produced a video about these hate crimes. He located cable access stations in major metropolitan areas and initiated discussion on airing the video. In addition, Vik researched news articles about SAALT and created an archive for their Web site. Vik also performed preliminary research for a grant proposal.
