Washington Alumni Reception

"It was a great opportunity to meet and talk with the alums and to do a little networking. It was also a great reminder that there is life after grad school!"

At the beginning of the Alternative Spring Break week, participants had the opportunity to meet and mingle with SI alumni from the greater Washington, DC area at an SI-sponsored reception. The soirée began with students and alumni giving brief introductions of themselves and then continued with informal conversations, eating and general merriment. The ASB participants greatly appreciated the chance to talk about 'life after SI' and network with the alumni. Likewise, the alumni were inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of the students. All in all, the gathering was a great success.
