Billie Lee divided her week between the Computing Research Association (CRA) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), which are housed in the same building. Throughout the week, she did a variety of activities, including staffing the registration table at a major event, researching policy issues, accompanying the Director of Government Affairs of CRA to Capitol Hill for a meeting with some members of the House Science Committee (where she got to sit at the witness table with the other participants) and observing meetings with the directors and presidents of computing organizations such as the IEEE-CS, DARPA, ACM, ASIST.
