Sarah McNitt spent ASB week at the Center for Democracy and Technology. As a student in the HCI specialization, Sarah found that the week she spent with CDT presented challenges that affirmed the skills and capabilities she is developing at the School of Information. CDT planned a redesign and restructuring of their website to coincide with their 10th year. Sarah studied the website, and its over 3700 HTML and PDF files and she wrote a report recommending various proposals for the organization of those files. Her proposal included recommendations for site architecture, usability, searchability and visual design. Sarah was excited to find out that her useful, unique skills were a positive contribution to the Center for Democracy and Technology.
