The National Security Archive was one of six new ASB hosts in 2005. Amanda Carvell spent her week there processing 15 boxes of documentation in the vast U.S. nuclear weapons collection. The documents represent 30 years of research and relentless requests for documents from the military, nuclear weapons laboratories, and related government agencies and are considered a significant reference for historians and researchers. Amanda’s work consisted of:

•  Reboxing, refoldering, and reorganizing documents in boxes as needed

• Creating a folder level description of box contents

• Inputting the description into the Archive’s Collections database

• Adding names, organizations, and subject terms to the Collections record

• Editing and polishing the existing Collections record for consistency and style
