Papers will be considered for publication in the proceedings if the submission is in any reasonable format that respects the spirit of the 10 page and 10-point font, double-column format (including the bibliography). This is the format to which accepted papers must be ultimately migrated. Additional details may be included in appendices beyond the 10 page limit but will only be read at the discretion of the reviewers. Suggested templates are provided below. The review process is single blind and author names should be included.
To accommodate the publishing traditions of different fields, authors may also submit working papers that will be reviewed and held to the same review standards as regular submissions, but appear only in abstracted form in the proceedings (along with a URL that points to the full paper and will be reliable for at least two years). These submissions need not conform to the conference paper format and authors submitting working papers should indicate this by answering 'No' to author question "Should this submission be considered for publication in the proceedings?" upon submission.
The Program Chairs reserve the right to reject without review submissions that do not conform to the spirit of these submission requirements. Please contact them at ec07-program@umich.edu if you have questions.
