Javier
Ascasibar
Javier
is a University of Michigan School of Information student
specializing in Library and Information Studies (LIS), and
is an astute academic researcher with excellent bibliographic
skills. Javier is a Residence Hall Librarian and Head Librarian
of Bursley Hall. Javier created the categorical headings
under which we will compile our research. Javier is also
interested in researching the buildings and resources on
the site and creating bibliographic records in HTML and
helping with the selection and description.

Constance
Colthorp
Constance
is the web master for this project. She is tailoring her
Master of Science in Information degree to incorporate her
interests in information architecture, web design and database
development. This project helps explore her interests in
interactive technology, archives and digital libraries.
She works as a University of Michigan Library Associate
at the Knowledge Navigation Center in the Harlan Hatcher
Graduate Library. Constance earned her BA in History from
Albion College. She
also assisted with some of the editing and content development.

Rosalie
Ehrlich
Rosalie
serves as the UMarch website project manager. She also coordinated
the archival image research, digitization and copyright
issues. Rosalie studied Visual Arts at Antioch
College. She is now a student in the Archives and Records
Management (ARM) specialization at the School of Information.
Her interests lie in increasing access to primary source
materials, as well as the relationship between documentary
photography and collective memory. Rosalie has processed
miscellaneous archival collections at the Bentley Historical
Library and the Detroit Publishing Company photographs at
the Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. This experience
will be valuable to the UMarch project: research/culling
of images appropriate for the web site, as well as procuring
permissions to use specific images.

Alan
Michelson
Alan
is a University of Michigan Library Associate at the
Media Union Library. He holds a Ph.D. in Art and Architectural
History from Stanford
University and is completing his Master of Science in
Information at the University of Michigan School of Information.
He is now working on his Master of Science in Information,
specializing in LIS. Alan is the primary intellectual source
and the original visionary of our project. He has hosted
our field trips and surveys of architecture. In addition
to writing and researching our site's content, Alan will
help ensure our work product is accurate and relevant.

Kimberly
Pandos
Kim
serves as the UMarch Curriculum Coordinator, creating lesson
plans and curriculum guides to help teachers and students
explore architectural topics. She also works as the Assistant
Web Producer for the UMarch project. Kim will complete her
Master of Science in Information (MSI) degree with a focus
in Educational Technology from The University of Michigan
School of Information in April 2000. She earned her Bachelor
of Arts Degree in English with a Minor in French from The
College of New Jersey (formerly known as Trenton State
College). Kim is the Head Residence Hall Librarian at the
Oxford Housing Information Resource Center. She hopes to
start a career as a School Media Specialist and continue
to create technology tools for learning.
