Join presenters Karandeep Singh, Assistant Professor of Learning Health Sciences, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Assistant Professor of Urology, Medical School and Assistant Professor of Information, School of Information, and Maggie Makar, Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan College of Engineering's Computer Science Engineering department, for an engaging introduction to machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. You learn the limitations of using electronic health records (EHR); distinctions between AI, data science, ML, and informatics; and understand the role of AI, ML, data science, and informatics and how they work together to create clinical decision alerts, and implications on practice.
